Hitachi Home Electronics employed the practice to relocate from their existing site in Hayes and create a new European Headquarters Building in a refurbished building in Bourne End, Bucks.

The fast track project required the delivery of a reception, showroom/presentation space, restaurant, open plan offices and meeting rooms within the two storey building in the ten week construction period.

The adopted design overcame the challenge of high floor to ceiling heights and the deep plan space in the general offices while accentuating the heights over feature areas such as the spherical presentation space. This internal showroom became the epicentre of the building and a conduit to the surrounding meeting rooms.
